We collected over 200 kg of single-use plastics and other sea debris from the shores of Saraya Island, Ras Al Khaimah.

In addition to Intertek’s remarkable support, we are honoured to have the backing of the Environmental Protection and Development Authority (EPDA). The EPDA’s endorsement further amplifies the significance of our Clean Ocean Initiative, underscoring the critical importance of preserving our marine environments. Their expertise and resources contribute immensely to our efforts, providing essential guidance and support that enrich our mission. This collaboration between Intertek, Relocate MENA, and the EPDA embodies a powerful alliance for environmental stewardship, highlighting the collective action needed to safeguard our oceans for future generations. At Relocate MENA/Relo-Global, we are not just about facilitating seamless relocations; we are deeply committed to giving back to the communities and environments in which we operate. With the pressing issue of ocean pollution escalating, it’s time for action. That’s why we’ve launched the Clean Ocean Initiative, focusing on educating, protecting, and cherishing our pristine beaches across the Emirates of the UAE. Join us for a vital beach clean-up event on Saturday, February 24th, 2024, at 10 a.m. as we tackle plastic pollution head-on.

The Issue at Hand:

Every year, millions of tons of plastic end up in our oceans, severely impacting marine life, coastal communities, and even our health. The beautiful beaches of Ras Al Khaimah are not immune to this global issue. As stewards of the environment, we must step up and make a difference.
